The Royal Indian offers takeaway delivery and collection to customers in Hailsham and surrounding areas.

2.1 Delivery Area

Delivery is available to Hailsham and surrounding areas, subject to the delivery address being within our service area. Availability will be confirmed during the online ordering process. We may decline an order where an address falls outside the available delivery area or delivery cannot reasonably be fulfilled.

2.2 Minimum Delivery Order

The minimum food order value for home delivery is £20, excluding the delivery charge. Customers below the £20 minimum may add items to reach the minimum or place an order for collection.

2.3 Delivery Charges

The delivery charge is £1 for addresses up to and including 4 miles from the restaurant. For addresses over 4 miles, the delivery charge increases by £1 for each additional mile or part of a mile.

• Up to and including 4.0 miles: £1 delivery charge.
• Over 4.0 miles and up to 5.0 miles (for example 4.5 miles): £2 delivery charge.
• Over 5.0 miles and up to 6.0 miles: £3 delivery charge.

The same £1-per-additional-mile-or-part-mile basis continues thereafter, subject to the address being within our delivery area.

The applicable delivery charge will be calculated and displayed during the online ordering process before the customer confirms and pays for the order.

2.4 Delivery and Collection Times

Estimated delivery and collection times are displayed during the online ordering process. Times may vary depending on order volume, preparation requirements, traffic, weather and other circumstances. If a delivery is delayed, please telephone the restaurant for an update.

2.5 Delivery Address and Availability

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address, telephone number and any relevant access instructions, and for ensuring that someone is available to receive the order. If our driver cannot locate the property or contact the customer, we may attempt to contact the customer using the details supplied with the order.

2.6 Collection Orders

Collection orders are not subject to the £20 minimum delivery order and do not incur a delivery charge. The estimated collection time is displayed during the ordering process. Customers should provide their name or contact number when collecting.

2.7 Orders We Cannot Fulfil

If we are unable to prepare or deliver an order, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer. Where we cannot fulfil an order that has already been paid for, we will arrange a refund of the amount paid for the unfulfilled order.
